What is a hormonal imbalance?

Hormones are chemicals produced by glands in the endocrine system and released into the bloodstream. An imbalance occurs when there is too much or too little of a hormone. Hormones travel to all of the body’s tissues and organs through the bloodstream. They give messages to these organs, letting them know what function to perform and when to do it. Different factors are responsible for this and it can put several roadblocks in the realization of a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Hormones like Estrogen, Testosterone, Insulin, and Adrenaline affect the proper functioning of our body. These hormones, secreted from different organs, work together to regulate the different processes in our body. The imbalance of even one hormone can cause a host of health issues.
